Gen-Strong was born from a simple observation: our nation doesn’t have a shortage of talent—it has a shortage of mentorship.

For decades, America has watched as the skilled trades quietly became the backbone of our infrastructure while simultaneously becoming one of the most overlooked career paths. Millions of experienced tradesmen are approaching retirement, taking with them decades of practical knowledge, craftsmanship, and wisdom. At the same time, countless young men and women are searching for direction, purpose, meaningful careers, and mentors who genuinely care about their future.

We believe those two problems solve each other.

Gen-Strong exists to reconnect the generations.

Our mission is to provide a place where experienced professionals can invest in the next generation through skilled trades, mentorship, character development, and faith-centered leadership. We are building an environment where knowledge isn’t lost when someone retires—it is intentionally passed on.

We don’t simply want to teach people how to earn a living.

Why We Started

Gen-Strong was founded after seeing the growing disconnect between education, employment, and purpose.

College has become the default recommendation for generations, yet countless graduates leave with overwhelming debt and little direction. Meanwhile, employers across America struggle to find qualified electricians, HVAC technicians, welders, mechanics, plumbers, carpenters, and other skilled professionals.

The opportunity has never been greater.

The problem isn’t that young people don’t want to work.

The problem is that many have never had someone willing to show them how.

Gen-Strong exists to change that.

 

What Makes Gen-Strong Different

Most trade schools teach a skill.

We are building an ecosystem.
